The Managing Game is dedicated to the memory of Tottenham’s greatest manager, ‘Sir’ Bill Nicholson. A Legend of the Lane, he is one of 26 managers who have held the Tottenham reins – doing better than anybody what Gerry Francis called ‘The Impossible Job’.
This is a book of two halves. As well as the history (and often the hysteria) of the Tottenham managers, The Managing Game is opened up to the views and opinions of scores of Spurs supporters. They have picked their dream Spurs teams from when they first started supporting the club, and their selections occupy the seond-half of a book that is a salute to the heroes who have gloriously worn the Lilywhite shirt.
Now YOU are invited to play the selecting game. Read what others think, and then pick your dream team and write it into the selection panel at the back of the book. This is The Managing Game. Enjoy!
If you have any questions or special requests (not rude ones) contact Norman Giller direct at author@normangillerbooks.co.uk
